The International Model United Nations Conference (IMUN 2023), which brought together over 200 participants from all over the globe and represented a broad range of nations, was held in Hanoi over the course of four days beginning on March 11th.
LianLian Global Vietnam sponsored the program as a way to support the youth, in line with its values as a “Multi-value companion”. Besides, the conference is also sponsored by the Union High Commissioner. United Nations on Refugees (UNHCR) and Australian Embassy in Vietnam
The Model United Nation Conference is an academic program that welcomes students from all corners of the globe, as well as participants of different ages. This program offers an unique opportunity for each member to represent a different country and engage in lively debates on topics of economic, political, and social relevance.
The program comprises three simulation committees: the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and the United Nations Women (UN WOMEN).
- The WHO committee is responsible for directing and coordinating international health within the United Nations system.
- The UNICEF committee is dedicated to providing humanitarian and development aid to children worldwide.
- the UN WOMEN committee focuses on discussing gender equality and the power of women.
This conference is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in diplomacy, public speaking, and critical thinking. It provides a chance to meet individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures who share a common interest in global issues. Through the event, many skills can also be cultivated and developed

During the opening ceremony of the program, Ms. Jessie Nguyen, a representative from LianLian Global Vietnam, conveyed the LianLian’s values and dedication towards enhancing the educational environment for the youth. Her address was emphasizing the critical importance of investing in the future of our youth.
By participating in this event, the youth can expand their knowledge and skills while also building valuable connections with like-minded individuals. Moreover, LianLian can gain valuable insights into the thoughts and opinions of young people from around the world, allowing us to better understand our future leaders
